I am trying to find family of Nathaniel Estes Graves. Born 1899 in louisiana, married Estine Octavia Orr. Son: Nathan Orr Graves
Grandchildren: Samuel Thomas Graves, Michael Nathan Graves, Nikki Marie Graves.
Have many more family names to share.
Also, am looking for Estine Ocatavia Orr born 1902. Father: Samuel Levi Orr.
Do not know much more than that about her, except she married once prior to Nathaniel Graves. Man named Neill.

Chattysmom on 2006-09-11 10:17:30Any clue as to what parish in Louisianna they may have lived in? Could check the 1920 census for a link to them if we know where to start looking. There were over 100 Graves families Louisiana in the 1920 census, and about 60 Orr families. but no Samuel Orr that I can locate in 1920. There was one Samuel Orr in the 1910 census in Red River, but no daughter born in 1902.

Your Graves relatives are from Washington parish, La. the town of Franklinton and community of Hayes Creek. Your great, great, grand father was Nathanial Graves married to Arcadia Magee; Thomas and Laura Graves were uncle Nat's parents.
