Wallace W. Demery, 86

YOUNGSTOWN ? Funeral services will be at noon Monday at St. Andrews A.M.E. Church for Wallace W. Demery, 86, who departed this life Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Demery was born Aug. 17, 1922 in Scriven County, Ga., a son of Eddie and Hattie Pierce Demery.
He had worked for Republic Steel Corporation for 40 1/2 years, retiring in 1983.
Mr. Demery was a member of the church and a WWII Army veteran.
He leaves his children, Brenda (Anthony) Adams and Joslin Demery, both of Youngstown; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Beutine Sr., Edward, Dessie and Willie Demery; and two sisters, Foye Day and Edna Brown.

Arrangements are being handled by F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home.
