James Starr was my gg grandfather, however I do not know who his parents are. He married Sarah (Sally) A. Campbell in 1844 Hopkins Co KY. My g grandmother was Rosa Ann Star and my grandmother was Della Gay Star. Della told me that we were related by marriage to Belle Starr, which would have to mean that my Starr line are Native American??? I don't know this is a mystery. My other surnames I can get further than the 1800's. I do not know why this surname is so hard. James Starr did the mason work at the old historic hotel in Eureka Springs, Ark and he was in the Civil War. I have an original pic approximately. 12 x 14 of Rosa. I do not no how to save it from crumbling. if anyone does let me know. I feel close to my grandmother Rosa, I never met her. I guess because I have this huge pic of her. I have walked the graveyard in Vinita, OK Craig Co at Fairview Cemetery and can't find her. Please help I am desperate. Thanks in advance Marcia Henderson Oklahoma City
