New at Genealogy
Desertrose
I am from the Atlanta area, was born and raised in Vancouver. Have many relatives in B.C. including Vancouver Island. Have reached a real brick wall in trying to find a first cousin. I am certain that she is deceased, however have been unable to find anything on her until just this past week. That is I think it is her. Anyway
the name is Doreen Johnson b: Nov 15, 1929, the date of death is around 1979. I find a entry on Ancestry.com
to the effect that she is buried at Gold River Park Cemetery, Gold River, BC on the Island. Have been unable
to locate where that is. Probably not going about it the correct way. Genealogy is so interesting, I enjoy it so much. Regret that I did not ask questions when I was younger. Any suggestions that anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Anything that I can do to help anyone with locating a grave or information in the Atlanta area, I would be glad to do.

Vancouver Public Library my Aunt's Obit from 1961 in the obit listed my cousin's married name. I never knew my cousin, so I am trying trace back what happened to her. I know that she has passed away, bit by bit I seem to peeling the layers away, so we shall see.
