Am looking to connect to anyone descended from Thomas Benning who went to SA ca 1850. Wife was Eliza/Elizabeth and children George, Nicholas, Jerome, Mary Ann.
At least one child (George?)ended up in Australia.

I am descended from a Thomas Benning born 1778 - 1846 ( England ) and his wife Elizabeth ( I have no details for her other than a first name) from their son William Benning 1816-1883 (England) he married Elizabeth S Knight, from their son George Henry Benning 1849-1940 ( this is the one who came to Australia), he married Mary E Ritton 1857-1926, from their son Arthur Frederick Ritton Benning 1887-1960 (Australia), he married Mary Parkinson 1887-1970, from their son Jack Ritten Benning 1929-2003 (Australia), he married Daphne Josephine Woodhouse 1929-2006, from their only son ( my father ) Russell Lindsey Benning.
According to the information I have Thomas Benning and wife Elizabeth had 3 children Thomas Benning born 1807, Elizabeth S Benning born 1808, William Benning born 1816.
