Billie and Kate had a daughter Frances S Mayes born 1 Apr 1860, married 3 Feb 1879, and died on 12 Nov 1943. She is my Great Grand mother. The information I have came from her death certificate. Sometimes this information is incorrect. They have her parents being from Catawba County, North Carolina. Coming from the 1860 census her father is not listed and shows she had a brother 3 years older named William. Only tells me the lived in Catawba during this time. Any help would be appreciated.
