Parents of James Philp Anderson , Allan Eric Anderson and Colin Peter Anderson

Hi, Is the name "James Lindland" common? It's just if you do a search on Paperspast with his full name you get a page of hits dated mainly 1929 to 1933 all for crimes mostly burglaries. As he appears in the electoral rolls in 1938 with Fanny he must have settled down and got married between 1933 and 1938, although it is not recorded on the govt online site. It might be on the microfiche in the library. Looks like he died in 1969 aged 57 years which makes him born around 1912 and that ties in with the dates in the newspaper articles. No birth record on the online site either but there again it would be worth checking the microfiche.

His Father was James Stevenson Anderson Farmer from Johanasberg South Africa , His Mother was Bergit Caroline nee Linland Anderson born Norway? and they travelled out from South Africa to New Zealand after 1911

His father died in South Africe and his wife and three children came to New Zealand after that time settling in the South Island
His father was a teleprinter not farmer

James Lindland Anderson died Jan 30 1969 his mother Bergit Karoline died Jan 301955 she had a daughter Grace Gregory and a grandson Peter Gregory and James wife Fanny had three sons Jim Allan and Colin
