I have recently become the proud adopter of a war grave in Brunssum war cemetery. The grave of Leonard Shergold, who died here in the Netherlands at the tender age of 24. I have managed to trace his family back to Isaac Shergold b.1696 in Little Langford, Wiltshire, who married Elizabeth Whale, but cannot seem to find parents for Isaac. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking for living descendants of the family who are related to Sidney Bernard Shergold, who passed away in 1979 or Sidney Thomas Shergold, his father who passed away in 1966.
