Wairarapa Daily Times, 16 March 1901 A rather sad occurrence took place at the Greytown Hospital about 10 o'clock yesterday when Mrs Jos. Abbott, who was only brought in the evening before, passed away from blood poisoning. She was 29 years of age, and leaves a husband and family of six children to mourn their loss

Evening Post, 8 July 1927 Mr Josiah Abbott, a well-known resident of Featherston for many years, died in the South Wairarapa Hospital at Greytown on Wednesday (states the Wairarapa correspondent of "The Post")

... The wedding was solemnised at St Stephen's Church Woburn Rd., Lower Hutt on June 17th, the contracting parties being Mrs Alice Abbott of Lower Hutt and Mr D'Arcy Scholes of Petone. The ceremony was performed by Rev J. E. Lopdell
The bride, who was escorted by her son in law, Mr Harold Chisnall, looked very charming in a gown of parma violet lace, cut on long graceful lines, with hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of violets and maiden-hair fern.
The bridesmaid, Miss Mary Abbott, (daughter of the bride), wore a lovely frock of pale peach georgette and lace with hat to match. She carried a posy of violets and maiden-hair fern. The best man was Mr J. F. McLeod (son-in-law of the bridegroom), of Petone (Emmeline Scholes married James Fulton McLeod in 1926).
A reception was held at 18 Central Terrace, where the bride's sister, Mrs W. Willoughby of Masterton (Annie Willets married William John Willoughby in 1894), wearing a smart frock of mulberry moacain, received a large number of guests. The usual toasts were honoured and many beautiful gifts were received.
Mr and Mrs Scholes left later by car, Mrs Scholes wearing a brown musquash coat with a black georgette and lace frock and a black hat to match

looking for help please in filling in the obvious gaps in the above, like, who was the 6th child of Josiah & Alice Annie and more info on the children of Josiah with his second wife
