when was Caleb born?

Caleb Barnhouse was born about 1798 in Va. He married Mary lane in 1819 in Washington DC(2) Married Lavinia Darley 1847 in DC. I would like to know who Caleb's father is and all dates possible. Thank you for responding.

Thank you so much noggin. This is amazing information and I didn't know what the link was until now. I had some ideas and some were right but i hit a brick wall with the Richard that married Martha Evans 11 Jan 1799. My John Barnhouse was born in 1746 so that Richard was out of a different line. I have a copy of Lawrence Barnhouse's will from 1633 and i am so thrilled to get this new information. If there is any way I can I assist you with the Barnhouse family tree please let me know. I also have quite a large volume of info on the Monroe line. This Barnhouse bunch beats anything I have ever seen because it was so hard to get back here. Now I'm back 10 generations and I am gonna celebrate here in the heartland of Missouri. Once father passed on in 2009 he had this genealogy book of our Barnhouse's that he had been working on since the 1970's and i am certain that he is celebrating with me as I type this. I also have a wonderful cousin that I will send to this site. I also found a couple of John Barnhouse's that connect together in England that i can't connect over here yet but the chase go's on. My Lawrence Barnhouse was born about 1570 to 1636. Since I live here in the states I don't know how to go farther back. I would center my search around Bristol Mariner England since that is where the will says he was from, perfect match from the information you sent. I have been looking for clues in Devon as well. There is a town called Boothrayce where some Barnhouses came from in the 1500's I think that the first John I'm looking at married Margaret Kirkham about 1492 This John was born about 1488 and only had a daughter Grace but Johns father also named John b 1470 d 1515 mentions none of his children so I am at another brick wall. The father, John Sr was born 1470 d 1515. He married Jane Pope. She was born 1478 died 1515. Both these families lived in or around Devon England. You have really done your research well and I am so pleased to have met you. My best to you and yours.

Prior to 1837 it is difficult to trace families in the uk. The records were kept in the parish records and only as good as the vicar/priest was at entering BMDs. There is aslo another facture sometimes whole families were baptised on the same day usually when the eldest daughter reached the marriage age. It is also difficult to find catholic families.

Bristol is in Gloucestershire and there are around 30 churches listed.

I'm looking for the father of Wilson M Vaughn born 1851 died 1952 in Missouri. His fathers birthplace was Kentucky. His wife's name was Desta L Dobson born about 1880 in Missouri. We hit a brick wall on this one. Thank you for any info that might help out. Wilsons relatives are Joshua, Susan, George, Phebe, and Jeff Davis, Vaughn or spelled Vaughan.
