**John C Norgrove 57, Visitor, Occ; Baptist Minister, Married

3 May 1856 - Duddeston Warwickshire listed as deceased on son Theophilus' nmarriage.

Details I would like to find

1. Details of his Birth & Parents names if possible

2. Marriage - I have the England & Wales Marriages 1538-1940 listing, but nothing further.

3. 1841 Census entry, searched but can't find him anywhere, maybe someone else will have better luck.

I have wife Sarah and children in 1841 living in St Philip and St Jacob, Gloucestershire, England
Household Members:
Name Age
Sarah Norgrove 45
Hulhen Norgrove 14
Theophilas Norgrove 12
Abielohim Norgrove 10

2. Where & When he died

I have further detail on the later Census and the whereabouts of John & Sarah's children and Sarah's death, I have one exception of son John.

John b1832 baptised 29 July 1832 - by Mr Shakespeare - Non Conformist Register Gloucester Parish records but I can find nothing further, no death.

I also have the details of the children from the Gloucestershire Archives listing the dates of birth, baptisms and the early deaths.

The puzzling thing is that I have their first three children born before the 1823 marriage which seems odd for a Minister so is the John Norgrove Sarah Eddels 1823 my marriage or is there another John & Sarah Norgrove

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks noggin, I have all the census and information on the children of John & Sarah. With the exception of son John b1832

I need the info on John Corban Norgrove the baptist minister b1794, 1841 census would be magic, as I have 1851, I don't have his death, can't find it anywhere, it was between 1851 Census and 1856, on his son Theo's marriage 1856 it says he is deceased.

Have you tried this site, I would have thought they would have records of their ministers.
