This Emily Lofthouse was my great great grandmother (my mothers,mothers, fathers mother). On the census details you have given there is no mention of John the eldest of Emily and Roberts children (my great grandfather) because he was married and living at another address at the time, 53 Ballycraigy, Carnmoney.
I am not sure as to how Emily and Robert met but I think based on information passed to me by my late mother that Emily may have been born in Yorkshire somewhere.
I would like to hear how she fits in with your records and look forward to hearing from you again.
