looking for peter williams born in south carolina, died in jefferson county missouri

I am at a brick wall with Peter. He is buried in Jefferson County Missouri. It is documented that he came from South Carolina, Spartanburg area, I am so very lost. He had a son John, that was one of the founders of Desoto Missouri, John's son was Silas, Silas's son was Silas, this Silas was my great grandfather.

myfairch on 2013-12-20 20:44:11Peter was born in 1770, death 1845, I know he died in Jefferson County Missouri and is buried on Sandy Creek. His wife was Mary Ann Ogle Williams, 1770-1846 also buried in Sandy Creek. I can not find a marriage record. Their first son was John, my 3x great grandfather, born 1797 in SC, married Nancy Todd, (1809-1865) in 1828. Both John and Nancy died and are buried in Hematite Missouri, John's 5th child Silas my 2x great grandfather. Born 1883, died 1906, Hematite Missouri, his wife was Matilda Ellen Cook born 1839 died 1931 buried in Texas. Their 10th child is my great grandfather, Silas, born 1879 in Hematite Missouri, he married Josephine Manley in may of 1900, she was born 1879 and died in 1960, they were both buried in Hillsboro Missouri Cemetery. Their 5th child is my grandmother Amelia, she married Fred Dames in St Illinois. This is all I have for now.
