My Gt Grandmother Esther Warner born 1855 Rochester. Monroe County New York.Around the mid 70's Esther lived with her Father on John St NY. I understand her mother died in childbirth. Esther married William Edley born 1853 England, at The First Methodist Episcopal Church Rochester 15th September 1873. Esther came back to England shortly after with William. Esther never returned to America. She settled down and went on to have 11 children. William was a cutlery manufacturer. I am seeking information on Esther prior to her marriage. There are no details of her parents on her marriage certificate. I have tried a number of ways to obtain a birth certificate but have failed owing to lack of information. Any Help appreciated. Esthers Father was G W Warner born abt 1835 Ogden NY, Georges Parents were Daniel Warner abt 1807 NY his Mother Esther Pierce. NY. Esthers Father G W Warner re married late in life to Katie Hancock a widow.13 Jan 1882 Manhatten. Katie had a daughter Estelle Hancock, born Hansbon Mississipi, she married Edward F Brown born Peekskill Westchester NY.Married 31 Oct 1881 Manhatten. Katie's maiden name was Albright. Katie's first husband was Dwight Hancock.
