Are you related to my Adamson?

Query by Chas_Leeds

I have finally found a missing relative. He was JOHN ADAMSON born in Holbeck, Leeds 27 Feb 1847. He lived in the Hunslet/Holbeck area up to the 1881 census when he seemed to have disappeared but finally found him in the 1891 census at 33 Ingledew Road, Plumstead, London. He was married to a MARY who came from Scotland but surname unknown. Their children were Jessey and Belinda.
He gave his occupation as "Steam engine maker." Was he an engineer or a model maker?
I have still to find details of his death - he is not on the 1901 census.
