My grandfather, Charles Henry NELIUS was born Oct, 1909. He was married to Anna (Annie) Elizabeth Douglass Moore. They were probably married in 1928.

Fritz was born Nov 1884. His parents were Charles Nelius and Sophia Meinike from Germany. I don't know if Fritz was born in the USA. His wife was Lina, but she was his 2nd wife. I don't know the name of his first wife, who would be my great-grandmother.

Besides Charles Henry, other sons were Wesley, J.D., Fritz Lee, Trenkaman (sp??). I know Uncle Trenky was a sheriff or lawman in or around Bellville, Texas.

I am Lola Mae Nelius Jones. My father was Edgar Fritz and my grandfather was Charles Nelius and his wife bertha Lehman Nelius.. They lived across the road from Ubcle Fritz and Aunt Lena. There was another brother that lived in town and his wife was Letiane and they had a daughtes named Rosemarie. I have lost contact with her, but she has a very detailed genealogy on the family. Bertha and Lechian (sp) were cousins There was another brother in Bellaire. He was a builder, and one in Houston that worked for Fingers Furniture. Their daughter was named Rosemary. I am not too sure about the daughtere, both were named Rosemary and Rosmarie.
