Jesse Howell

Jesse Howell was my GGGGrandfather and he was married to Nancy Nicholson. They lived in Srewart Co., Ga. and later it became Webster Co., Ga. Their son John Adam came to Pike Co., Al with his Grandfather Duncan Nicholson and married Sally Bell. They had a son named Charles Haden who was my Grandfather. My father's name was Jessie Howell. Have been looking for Jesse's parents for twenty years. Wondering if my Jesse is the same one as Jesse Malachi Howell, Jr. Both were born in 1819 in SC. Any suggestions?

inde49 on 2017-04-13 20:18:27Since 2014 I have learned that my Jesse Howell was named James Monroe Howell but called Jesse. His father was Samuel Howell. His Grandfather was Daniel Howell. His Great-great grandfather was Henry Howell and the father of Henry was Ethelred Howell who was born ca. 1635-1658 Wales. Hope this will be helpful!
