Debbie, my biological father was Harold Lloyd Jobe and his father was James P Craft Jobe of Vernon, Texas. My grandmother was Lorena M (Hix) Jobe. I don't have a lot of information about the Jobes but I am beginning to research the Jobe line now. I know I have one cousin, Tracy Jobe and I think he lives in Norman, Oklahoma. I am not sure of his age, but I know his father (my uncle)was James Eugene Jobe. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Rebecca Jobe Nolan

I just joined this site so the Debbie J who joined Family Tree Circles in 1970 must be someone else. My father was James Eugene Jobe born 11/30/1930 in Vernon TX and died 12/2/1970. He had open heart surgery in his 30’s and died from a massive heart attack at 40 while driving a cattle truck. I have an older sister, Cheryl, born in 1954 and I was born in 1958. I was unaware he had other children so any info you can share would be greatly appreciated. I know he was married multiple times. The last time I saw him was in 1963 or 1964 when we lived with him and his then much younger wife Linda (I believe they were married, I know her parents last name was McLean) in Wichita Falls TX. She didn’t care for us so one day when he was at work she took us to the bus station and sent us back to our grandmother in Boston. I was 6 and my sister was 10. Thx, Deb
