lLooking for any information on J.E. McGee. Middle name is Elbert. We have found possibly where he was born, marriage to Louisa Tarpley, and where he was listed on death certificate of some of his children. We have found no census records at all. Have found a couple of clues for Elbert Mcgee enlisting in Clayton County during the war but cannot tie that person to any confirmation that he is the person we are looking for.
