Noel and Audrey Cantrell are these people sibblings or a married couple ?? Do you have an approx date of birth ?

Noel and Audrey are siblings. Their mother and father were Hugh and Lillian Williams Cantrell, originally from Tennessee, but they moved to Cook County IL and the children were mostly raised there. I couldn't find a marriage certificate for Hug and Lillian so I don't know if they married in Tennessee or in Illinois. I know Lillian Cantrell moved to my hometown, Hancock, MI. Noel lived here also and was in and out of jail for drunk & disorderly. Audrey was his sister, and she married Stephen Reynolds. I believe Stephen was from Houghton, MI just across the bridge from Hancock. Stephen and Audrey were estranged, but he came to the home on Holland Street just down the block from my house. Sometime either Christmas Eve/Day in 1956, Stephen stabbed Audrey to death in front of their 6 year old son Robert. They also had another child Michael who was 2.5 years old. Then he went outside with a high power rifle and shot himself in the head. My father was a part-time police office with the Hancock Police and he was called to the scene because he was only less than a block away. Noel married a girl from Houghton with the first name of Joan (at least I think they were married). He fathered twin girls, Joni and Lori. They never had Noel in their life, they only knew that he was their biological father. Noel and Audrey are part of my family. I did a search and found out that Noel Cantrel is 75 now and has lived in Hancock, MI, Carlton, MN, Duluth, MN, Calumet, MI, and St. Paul, MN Where he is now is anyone's guess. That is why I'm having such a hard time finding him. Thanks Jean

My Uncle was born in Nashville Tennessee to Leonidas Cleburn Cantrell and Minerva "Minnie" Thompson Martin. He and his siblings and father moved up to Chicago Illinois, Cook County and settled there for a few years after his mother, Minerva died in 1929. He served in the U.S Army during WW2 and was honorably Discharged with the rank of Private.

He was Married to Lillian Carolina Williams, and together they had four children, two of them are now passed on as of 2009. He worked for an advertising firm in Chicago Illinois, and in the mid 1940's moved his wife and family to Marquette Michigan. He was known for being a heavy smoker, and later died from Lung Cancer. [ Source taken form his death certificate # 397 of the state file in Michigan ]He is buried at Park Cemetery in Marquette Michigan, as per his death certificate.

Lillian is also deceased as of 1978.

This is really good information, thank you so much for it. I'm still hoping to find out where Audrey was buried after she was murdered. I know her mother Lillian,brother Noel were her in Hancock. But she had to have been buried somewhere. Also, Audrey's estranged husband was living in the Houghton, Hancock area when he murdered Audrey and killed himself. I would like to know who his parents were and where he was buried. I've just hit a brick wall. Maybe I'm asking for information that just isn't available. I don't know. Also, her mother Lillian, I don't have a clue where she might be buried. As for Noel, he is 75, so there's a good chance he may be still alive. He has lived so many places, I don't even know where or how to find him. Thank you again for this information, I will add it to what I had.
