I am trying to trace my grandfather. My fathers me was Ken barrett and he died in 1982. My mother Daphne Barrett nee green died in 2013. I never met my fathers mother and his father only once. All I know of him wash was a conductor. He lived in Bendigo Victoria but was in south Australia when he died in the early 70's
sadly I do not know his first name or that of my grandmother

No it was Kenneth ernest barrett and his brother was john barrett. there is a history in Victoria I believe. My grandmother I know died soon after my mother and father were married
from that time I only ever met my grandfather on my fathers side once and at that time he was living in South Australia, Adelaide I assume.
I don't know if my grandfather had brothers or sisters. My father died in 1982 in palm Beach Queensland
It seems like a needle in a haystack as I really know nothing of my surname heritage or where my family are
