Robert john Gallagher joined army ww2 1940 -1942 was court marshalled 1942 unsure what happened to Robert Gallagher after 1942 army records closed. was possible married to beryl may Gallagher .? census records Queensland 1985. beryl may , Janice Beverly and Lorraine joy living together in there resident at south Brisbane . Robert john Gallagher seemed to disappeared after 1942 court marshal . Janice and Beverly Gallagher can find no records of them being married or any children . beryl may Gallagher ,Robert Gallagher wife appears to no children . any one know this family? would love to know any information on this family . the Gallagher were rc .

tonkin on 2014-11-26 05:05:19Robert John GALLAGHER was discharged from the Australian Army on 20 June 1946. At the time of his discharge he was with the 2/2 Anti Tank Regiment.
Robert's full service record should include details of his Court Marshall.

He enlisted with the Australian Army on the 12 July 1940.
Court Marshall was on 13 & 14 October 1942.
Robert's wife was Beryl May LAMBERT. They were married in Queensland in 1937.

GALLAGHER, Beryl May (nee Lambert), from Robert John Gallagher,
married 1937, ground desertion.
Beryl May died in Ayr, Queensland, the 1st week of October 2009
janilye on 2017-05-29 16:51:23please disregard that death notice I tacked on there; the Beryl May Gallagher who died in Ayr in 2009 was 76. Just a tad young to marry in 1937.
