I have confirmation of a marriage for Charles & Elizabeth,indicating the father was John Stokes
When searching for John Stokes - there is no evidence of Charles as his son, no evidence that I can attach to John Stokes as a wife or siblings for Charles.
Charles was living with Martha Stokes (dob) 1776 aged 65 in 1841 census. Where to from here. I have tried guessing birth dates but when you reach 1800 or earlier there do not seem to be many registrations.
