from NZ BMD online

Marriage
1925/2476 Susannah Jane Murray Cyril Malcolm Taylor

This is Cyrils Death
1940/16932 Taylor Cyril Malcolm 43Y

Two possible deaths for Charles

1963/28781 Taylor Charles Ernest 78Y
1912/6188 Taylor Charles Ernest 40Y

There are lots of Elizabeth Taylors and quite a few Elizabeth Catherines and Katherine/Catherine Elizabeths but nothing with Kate.

this is possible
1941/17984 Taylor Katherine Elizabeth 70Y

I have no idea how to check New Zealand Records. Are their any online records for Waikumete Cemetery or WW1 Service Records?
Thank you

Auckland Council website has a section on Cemeteries

If you look under Cemetery Records then West Burial & Cremation it has a list for Waikumete, Cyril is listed there, or you can contact the cemetery directly, details also listed on the council site.

www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz

If you edit the heading for Cyril and include New Zealand a few other members might be able to give you more information.

Thank you for this help
I received information from another researcher that;
Cyril Malcolm Taylor married Susannah Jane Murray in 1925 in New Zealand.
Susannah died in 1965.
Is it possible to find out if Cyril and Susannah had any children.

Do you know anything more about Elizabeth Kate Carr? I have many Carr's on my family tree. All from New Zealand. Do you know who her parents were or where she was born.

by Morgan2409 on 2014-12-23 00:07:55

Elizabeth Kate Carr was born in Geelong, Victoria, Australia on the 26th January 1875 and died in New Zealand in 1918.
Her parents were Samuel Carr and Sarah Jane Hilliard. Samuel Carr was born in Birkenhead England Abt. 1830 and arrived in Hobart, Tasmania in 1852 as a Parkhurst Exile aboard Equestrian (3)
Elizabeth Kate also had 2 sisters Sarah Jane Carr and Mary Ann (1877-1877). Mary Ann was accidentally suffocated as she slept with her Mother. She also had a half brother Edmund Henry Perry (born Edmund Henry Owens).
Her mother Sarah Jane died from exposure in Geelong, Victoria 1878. Later that year Samuel Carr died from heart disease. The three children were then sent to the Industrial Schools.

Hi there,

I am the great great granddaughter of Susannah Jane Taylor or Susie Taylor as she was known.

There were no children from the marriage of Susie and Cyril as far as I know. Susie had one daughter, Muriel born 1906.

Hope that helps a little

Kelly
