While searching in records ,I found a land lottery "Cherokee Land Lottery ,1832.Name Reid's.Found in David Pruitts records.David Pruitt 1743-Stocks Creek ,Amelia,VirginiaDeath date 1830.Location of death was Gwinnett,-Georgia maybeParents Mary Chastain ,Thomas Prewitt.Found on Family Search.

Land in the gold region and in the heart of the Cherokee nation was put up for sale,in the lottery of 1832! David Pruitt received 2 acre lots.Reids was a town in Gwinnett County Georgia.
