William David ANGUS. Born 1888 Victoria Australia

William David Angus is my grandmothers brother. I have been able to locate his birth certificate (born Victoria Australia) but nothing else. I would love to find a death certificate for him.
Some Angus family members have him as dying in France in 1918, I have been able to prove this is not my William David ANGUS. I have not been able to locate any WW 1 records for him either in Australia or New Zealand.
Can anybody help?
