Looking for parents, birthplace, etc. of John C Johnston and Ester C Wooster

These two individuals are my great-great-great grandfather and mother on my grandfather's mother's side of the family.
John Chauncey Johnston, born 18 Dec 1797 somewhere in NY, Ester (Hester) C. Wooster born about 1802 or 1803, perhaps in NY.
They were married 11 May 1818 and over the years lived in Danby in Tioga County NY. Eventually (1865 census) they were in Richford , and then (1880 census) in Spencer. Hester died Feb 1866; John remarried Ann Maria Cloch (b 1818, d 1911). Both Hester and John are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Spencer, NY.
