Informatio I have managed to obtain so far is his first marriage was to Alice Mary Walsh on 17th March 1877, Pinetown, Natal. (He had to obtain a special licence to marry her and his document states that place of birth is Karlshamm, Sweden? His second marriage was to Elize Henrietta Crausaz (now spelt Crause) on 24th February 1885, Maritzburg, Natal. Have been unable to get confirmation of his place of birth and when he actually arrived in South Africa. He fathered 3 children,
