I am trying to find out about Mordecai P Carter and who his spouse was.I have 2 possible ones. Angeline McEwen and Martha Walton.He is supposed to be my 2nd great grandfather.

My great grandfather Henry M Carter 29/Mar/1835 in Somerset County,PA- 08/Dec/1915 in Doylestown, Bucks, PA. Son of Henry M is Albert Russell Carter 1893-1954.
My great great grandfather is listed in our family bible as Mordecai P Carter sp. Angeline. Searching on Ancestry.com I got McEwen as her last name but also found a Martha Walton. I can't seem to find any definite marriage date or who the correct spouse is.
Mordecai about 1810-1848 born and died in Pennsylvania
Angeline about 1817 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania and died about 1861 in Pennsylvania.
Martha Walton 30/Sep/1804 in Warminster, Bucks, PA- 01/Feb/1884 in North Hampton, Bucks, PA.
