Hi willy, my name is lynette ward and if it is the same edward mcmillan I'm his great grand daughter. Edward as I have found out by marriage certificate in nz in 1910 to millicent and had 5 kids. Marjory was 7 when he died in 1926 by a horse kick.marjory was my grandmother which I didn't know as she adopted my mother out.I have found some things on great grand dad but need his birth certificate. Hi Willy, sorry i havnt gotten back to you, busy with work and funerals. I have tried looking on sites for a Mary Brown but cant find the right one that goes with John Mcmillan. Im picking they are of aborinal descent as he ggdad was called Darky and he was born in Australia and the coroner said that he was of dark skin. Didnt say he was moari skin or indian skin. he wasn't of aboriginal decent, john was born in Scotland from what i was told, he was like my grandad and me we go realey bronze to dark in the summer i dont know if they were married in scotland or ausstralia still checking look forward to talking with you ,were are you living
