Alice was born in France around 1868 she came to Australia around the age of 27 she supposedly lived in NSW for approximately 2 years then 1 year in Queensland. It was said she had been married prior to marrying Sydney we are unable to find any marriage certificate for her. They lived in Kalgoorlie and Alice wrote for the newspaper. I think they had a child by the name of Thomas who died, in 1911 there was another child Alice not sure if adopted or not. If anyone can help with a marriage certificate or which ship Alice came on fron England or France. We think her father was John Dandois a superintendent of railways.
