Henry Prowse born 1814 in Newton Abbot Devon. I can find no further information about him until he was married at St Clement Danes London in 1844. I cannot find him on the 1841 census. He was a piano maker, so he must have done an apprenticeship somewhere

Henry Prowse returned to Newton Abbot Devon between the 1861 and 1871 censuses and continued to be a piano maker, this time adding and piano tuner.
