Hi It looks like he was living in wyalong in new south wales as he is in gaol for being of 'unsound mind' in 1904 he also has an alias james pearson and came over on the ship ss iberia in 1887

Alice died in 1904 and is buried with her son Edward in the St Kilda Cemetery on 12 February 1904. She is named as Alice Annie GRACE on the cemetery records. You will need the death certificate to find out Alice's cause of death.

Interesting. Whereabouts have your found the Cemetery? I haven't even got close to that.

Edward Samuel James Leslie Grace (1889) is the son of James Leslie Grace (1862),

Alice Annie Grace is Alice Catherine's daughter, so a little intrigued with name on cemetery records.

I have just gone into the St. Kilda Cemetery records and cannot pull anything up on either of the names and Edward Samuel.

Alice Annie WILSON nee GRACE died in 1980, aged 90 years.
Alice Catherine GRACE nee FOWLER died in 1904, aged 38 years.

I expect the person supplying the information to the undertaker at the time confused the second given name of mother and daughter. The records are full of such errors. More so with the death records.
