I am aware of this William but I don't think it is our William. Our william was 46 when he died in 1900. He was my g grandfather. In Trove it mentions in a notice for his daughter Daisy's marriage that he was from New Zealand, but I cannot find anything. Daisy was married after her father and mother had died. Two DNA matches have come up from people connected to Isaac Tyler convict and his brother John convict, both transported on same ship to Tasmania. Just can't find a birth or baptism for William James from these two. I have many of the same family names in my family and I know my late father had contact with people from Isaac's children but cannot find any records.
I have eliminated my g father being from another brother of Isaac and John. I will keep searching.

Daisy had a brother - Ike/Isaac Tyler

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnieod on Wednesday, the Rev. Father Kelsh, of Westbury, officiatlng, the contracting parties being Mr. Ike Tyler, of Evandale, and Caroline, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Jacobs (Nile). The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in her travelling dress of violet cloth. prettily trimmed with Insertion, the bodice being finished with a handsome point lace collar. She also wore the usual orange blossom. The bride was attended by three bridesmaids, Miss Daisy Tyler, sister of the bridesgroom, was attired in white muslin, relieved with blue, and Olive and Dulcie Tall, cousins of the bride, were prettily dressed in blue velvet trimmed with white. After,the ceremony the wedding breakfast was partaken of at the residence of the bride's parents, at which only immediate relatives sat down. The bridegroom was attended .by Mr. J. Southerwood, of Evandale, as groomsman. Mr. and Mrs. Tyler left during the after. noon, amidst showere of rice and rose leaves, for Evandale, to catch the train on route for the coast, where the honeymoon will be spent.

Thank you Crawford, I did have that information. The Ike is Isaac and is Dad's brother. So Daisy is also Dad's sister. My father was 3 when both parents died so he didn't really know them. I think the Mr L Tyler of Kentishbury is Mr I Tyler. This Makes the original Isaac, convict, my G G Grandfather . Kentishbry is Sheffield where they received land grants. No birth record for William James and no mention of his family in Isaac's will. No one in the trees seem to know of William James . I believe his older brother and sister cared for the 2 little ones after the parents died.
