My search is to find where and when my grandfather Edward Thomas Woolley passed away.My information is it was around July 1942 and occurred in Queensland and involved a level crossing accident.

Name: Edward Thomas WOOLLEY.
Died: 11 July 1942, Queensland.
Father: William WOOLLEY.
Mother: Annie SMITH.
Ref: Registry of Deaths Queensland.
Registration number 1942/C/3887.
This only confirms date of death for you and that he died in a country area in Queensland. You may have to obtain death certificate to find the actual location. The accident would have appeared in the newspaper of the time but may take some time to find on Trove.

According to the details for Edward's death in 1942 his mother was Annie SMITH.
His birth record names his mother as Sarah Ann. Informant for his death may have made a mistake with his mother's name.
