I am on a long search for the family of Patrick Russell and Mary (maybe known as Margaret)O'Brien. I believe they Lived in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, Ireland.Their daughter, Hanoria, was my great grandmother. Hanoria came to the USA around 1885. Patrick and Mary had at least 3 more children: Christine, was still in Ireland as of 1940, Gertrude, came to the USA, and Patrick, lived in Montreal in 1940.Have been told by family that Patrick, the father, owned a business in Lisdoonvarna, maybe an inn. Was also told, the business was still owned by family into the 1980's.

And have you tried just plain googling lisdoonvarna+russell? I did just then and there seems to be a few links leading you back to the Clare library.

And try posting a general message at the genforums for Ireland itself Ireland Genealogy Forum just please make sure you use an email address that you will keep for a while as you never know when your message will be replied to.
