Looking for any info on the life of Charlotte Nellie Amelia Elcombe

Charlotte was born in Hampshire 1894 I have her and her sister Dorothy at school in the early 1900's after their mother Ellen died in Jamaica and her father went to the Boar war, then blank until 1911 census. Next entry is in 1952 when her father, William George Elcombe died in Essex.Probate records state her name was Charlotte or Nellie BRACKEN widow

BGD548 on 2020-04-20 22:15:25Thanks for the response. Had this info, but can not find any records of what happened to Charlotte between 1911 census and 1952. As I said in 1952 she is listed at 9 Esk Road Forest Gate Essex at the death of her father.The records state that she is a widow and her married name is Bracken. When did she marry and when did her husband die? Possibly a casualty of the 1st world war?Have a Nellie Bracken on the 1939 register and a Nellie Bracken death in March 1963 in Essex. Not sure if these two entries are for the same person.Have all the info on her sister Dorothy, (my Grand mother)who came to New Zealand 1920.

BGD548 on 2022-04-23 04:55:27Hi all, Have found that Nellie Bracken died in 1963 and on her death cert. her address is the same 9 Esk Road Forest Gate Essex, the original family home. She died in what was known as the Aldersbrook Unit, an annexe of the Eastham Memorial Hospital She isn't on the 1921 Census so where did she disappeared too and what she did between 1911 and 1952 is still a mystery.The search continues.
