My great grandfather Ole Engebretsen at age 20 migrated to the U.S. in 1883 from Norway aboard the Republic. He would later change his name to Ole Davis. I am wondering if anyone in Norway would have a record of Ole and his relatives? He was born in January 1864 or possibly 1863. I can provide more information about Ole's life here in America as well.
