Charles “Sonny” Messer was my grandfather. Married Bessie Bell Nicholson, lived in Sylva NC had 6 children. One, a girl, died as an infant. Sons: Charles William Messer, Harley Messer (my dad), Robert Lee Messer, John Messer. One daughter: Dorothy Mae Messer (Ball). I don’t have a lot of info about the Messer side of my family and would like to know more. Any info is appreciated!
