D. August 1848 in Randolph County Indiana buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Wayne County Indiana near Crete.
Married: Nancy Bowen on 4/20/1820 in Randolph County Indiana. Robert may have had another wife prior to Nancy, no one knows. He was in his 50s when he married Nancy. Nancy also remarried a Hugh Stephenson after Robert died.
