My Blanchard family

Journal by JnLee

My name is Jennifer Lee Blanchard. I'm the second child of my father John Munro Blanchard Jr. I was born in 1990 on the 31 of December. I have one brother, his name is John Munro Blanchard III. He was born the day after my dad's birthday which was on May 17. My brother was born in 1985. My dad was born in 1966. My grandparents on my father's side are Edith and John Munro Blanchard Sr. I don't know much about my grandfather, but we call him papa. As I've been told are family the Blanchard's that is originated in France, but I myself have Native American, Italian, French and Russian heritage in me. I will make more journals when I have more information I kinda just stumbled across this site today in school.

Dear Jennifer, Welcome. If you click your mouse on BLANCHARD you will be taken to a brand new surname wiki style page with heaps of good website links that I could find for your surname.

Tip: Please remember to protect the privacy of the living (including yourself) by not displaying on the internet for all to read your full date of birth. You may edit/change your journals here on familytreecircles.

To learn more about doing your family tree and the pastime of genealogy, do a search on NEWBIES and FREE in the top right-hand corner of this website.

Generally the costs involved with genealogy should only be to obtain birth, death and marriage certificates of some immediate family members, parents, grandparents, great grandparents and that should be enough to get you going.

Try as hard as you can to avoid websites that ask you for money. I have provided as many free website links that I could find.

Think about how you are going to store your family tree information. It can either be in written book format for future generations or on the computer if you're so inclined. There are lot's of free software available on the internet. I use Personal Ancestral File from Family Search.

Best of luck and keep up with the school work.

Alison in Australia.
