Dear Fourpeaks, Hi. Do you have 1841 Census details for your MCINTOSH families? Rootschat.com - Scotland - Inverness may assist you. Post an 1841 Census Lookup Request MCINTOSH family. Read other people's topics before you post your own to get the general idea.

Do you have birth/baptism details for all the 12 children? And did all the 12 children marry and live in the State of Victoria, Australia? We can check the BDM records for you.

Tip: Remember to put all the surnames that your journals are about at the bottom of each journal.

Lovely photo too! You can have this colourised and professionally restored for FREE at RootsChat.com - General - Photograph Restoration. Read these two topics first though ... "If you don't know how to post an image"; and "Before you post your photos".

I have the 1841 census details for John and Jane in Glenurquhart, Inverness. I have researched this family as I thought they were another branch of my own. There are some inconsistencies in the information that is available and I am keen to discuss this.

My research suggests that I am a direct descendent of Eliza McIntosh from her first marriage to John Ploughs and have most of those details if that is of any help to you.
Regards Barrymore
