Kate Margaret Rawson in Mansfield Victoria between 1923 and 1936.

Query by aandym

A large oil painting by Gladstone Eyre: "The Old Mill on Supply Creek" was on exhibition in the Launceston Gallery (in Tasmania, Australia) between 1896 & 1907.
It was acquired by Mrs. Kate Margaret Rawson (nee Heron), probably in 1896, then transferred to her private residence around 1907.
Assumed to have been kept in Mansfield, Victoria, Australia between 1923 & 1936 by Kate Margaret when she possibly lived in Mansfield with or near her eldest daughter, Olive Kate Crockett, wife of Alfred W. J. Crockett, grazier of Mansfield ("Riversdale" farm, now under the waters of Lake Eildon). Kate Margaret died in 1936 in Mansfield.
The painting was then inherited by my wife's grandparents Olaf Edwin and Bertha Grace Rawson, who lived in Murtoa around that time.
The family of Bertha (nee Herman) also lived in Mansfield.
