jennibrabham on 2011-03-30 00:16:43My great great grandmother Anna Kohfahl was married later in life to William Trenoweth and Ethel was her stepdaughter - she was 11 at the time of their marriage, as her own mother had died in 1882, and Anna brought her up.

A marriage between William TRENOWETH and Anna KOHFAHL does not ring any bells. I will be searching the South Australian records again in a few weeks and will follow up this second marriage for you.

William TRENOWETH (aged 37 years) and Anna KOHFAHL (aged 40 years) were married on the 23 July 1891 at the residence of Mr. HOLEBROOK at Goodwood, South Australia. William's father was named as John TRENOWETH and Anna's father was named as Johann H B KOHFAHL.
