KENNEDY FAMILY of APPLECROSS and later

Journal by johnkb

Hi

My Keendy ancestors came from Applecross on west coast of Scotland. My g x 3 grandparents John Kennedy and Anne Campbell were married in Applecross around 1820. Their only son John, was born in 1822 and married Floa McKinnon in 1843 at Ardelve ROC. They had 8 children, one of whom, John born 1857, married Isabella McKenzie in 1882 at Lower Kincraig ROC. One of their daughters, Isabella is my grandmother, born 1890. She married Peter Watt of Alford Aberdeenshire in 1912, after which they emigrated to Melbourne Australia.

I would like to find out more about my Kennedy ancestors and would like to make contact with anyone researching the Kennedy family.

regards

John
