William KIDD and Sarah BIRD arrived in Victoria, Australia, on the Fairle
in June 1856. They were recorded on the passenger list as follows:

William KIDD aged 32 years.
Sarah KIDD aged 30 years.
George KIDD aged 10 years.
Sarah KIDD aged 05 years.
William KIDD aged 02 years.

When they arrived in Victoria they registered the birth of another daughter, Caroline Fairlie KIDD, born on the voyage out to Australia. I don't think I would be wrong to say they gave Caroline the second given name of Fairle after the ship Fairle. William and Sarah had eight more children in Victoria.

William died 1898 in Diamond Creek, Victoria.
Age: 76 years.

Sarah died 1888 Yarra Bend, Victoria.
Age: 65 years.
