My direct line/branch of the Kilroy family tree is from Ballyteige, Glenhest, county Mayo, Ireland.

My grandfather was John P Kilroy (1885-1955). His brothers and sisters were:
Patrick (1886-1924)
Margaret (1887-1917)
Mary (1889-?)
James Joseph (1890-1948)
Edward (1892-?)
Bridget (1894-?)
Catherine (1897-?)

Patrick came to the Unites States briefly but returned to Ireland. The remaining brothers and sisters all immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

My father was Robert Anthony Kilroy (1933-1991) the youngest of nine (9) children of John P Kilroy (1885-1955) and Henrietta Spink (1890-1948).

One of my brick walls is my great great grandmother Bridget McTigue. I cannot locate any information for her, and have been guessing up this point that she was also from county Mayo. She was married to my great great grandfather John P Kilroy (1851-1929).

I would welcome hearing from anyone who might be a connection to my family in Cleveland, as well as in Ireland. And any information on Bridget McTigue will be greatly appreciated.
