In the Knibbe genealogy, William August Knibbe from kendall, TX. had many children, I believe it was 13, not sure yet, but 2 of his sons were put into a home.

Stories say, maybe Mr. Knibbe was into cattle rustlings, or he was running from a marriage. Why he put the boys in this home is not known to me.

I am married to Jerry Sherman Knibbe in Salem, Oregon. His mother, Gladys Knibbe lives here also. Jack Knibbe died in 1998. Mr. Jack Knibbe and Glayds had 3 boys, Larry, Jerry and Doug.
