I have been researching the surname of Larter for about 35 years.
My line at present commenced in Suffolk England in 1660 and on various paths around the world my direct line of husband, wife and 2 children landed in Brisbane Queensland Australia in 1855.
I have got other Larter lines including 1 in my wife's family that married before we were married.
