I am looking for information on the Lazenby family. My last Lazenby ancestor was gggm Elizabeth Lazenby daughter of Francis Lazenby and Ann Johnson. Elizabeth was born in 1834 in Hull. She married my ggqf Daniel Perry in 1859 in Texas Qld.

Our family have traced Elizabeth's family back to a Humphrey de Lasingby b C1200. Humplreys son Peter married a Maude de Butterwick.
the name has changed through the centuries with De Lazenby, Lasenby, Laysingby, Lazanbye.

In 1330 a John Lazenby is reputed to have died at Ilby Manor (somewhere in England).
